OUR STORY

Music has been our passion since childhood.

We are both from Long Island, and met while singing together at the Utah Festival Opera in 2006. Since then, we have become best friends, and have collaborated as performers and as teachers of music. We are professional opera singers, teachers of voice and piano, and have taught for over 20 years.

In addition to performing, we are passionate about the teaching process, and have developed a music school of exceptional students taught by an outstanding faculty. We have proudly musically groomed many young singers and pianists to receive outstanding NYSSMA® scores, as well as go on to prestigious Music Colleges and Conservatories! Not only are we attracting more and more students, but we have learned is that our students really love the convenience we offer by teaching them in their homes.

Hence our idea was born: The Long Island Studio of Music!®

‘LISM has far exceeded our expectations as a music school for our boys. Our teacher is patient, compassionate, knowledgeable and the children love their teacher. She was exactly the perfect match for us. The music making in our home is always a joy to hear!’
— Kathy L., Floral Park

I like how after lessons, my growth as a singer and a student is visible to me. The progress keeps me motivated. This helps me to develop confidence in myself as a singer.
